Carmen Maldonado

Carmen Lizzette Maldonado, 51 years of age, was born on February 7, 1968 & passed away December 27, 2019.

Carmen Maldonado, 51, passed away December 27, 2019. Carmen was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico & moved to the city of Lawrence in the mid 70’s. She was the loving daughter of the late, Olympia M. Santiago & Juan Maldonado Sr.

Carmen was very loved, always full of life... She lit up any room she entered with her contagious smile & loud remarks. One of her greatest joys was being surrounded by all of her loved ones, dancing the night away and creating endless memories. She was the “infamous cook” at all of the family events. She was a huge sports fan, supporter of the Patriots and Yankees. 

Carmen is survived by her children, Erika Esmurria of Haverhill, Madelyn Esmurria of Haverhill, her son Omar Maldonado of Lawrence & beloved son, Luis Esmurria of Lawrence. She leaves behind 14 grandkids & 2 great-grandkids & a lot of nieces & nephews who will miss her deeply!  

She is also survived by her siblings: Maritza Maldonado of Nashua, Juan Maldonado of Methuen, Wanda Maldonado of Florida, Mayra Maldonado of Lawrence, Norma Santiago of Puerto Rico & Mavelyn Garcia-Bonilla of Puerto Rico
