George was born on March 3 1969 in Bani Dominican Republic to Luz Grecia Mateo and Enrique Diaz. He worked as a chef in many famous hotels in the Dominica Republic. He was a very sought out chef and was very loved by all the members of his family in the Dominican Republic. In 1994 George moved to the United States leaving behind his parents, his family and children from a previous marriage searching for a better future. While in the US he met his current wife of 22 years and together had 3 children he lived and worked for numerous restaurants in Lawrence Ma. He worked at La Sirena, Leo’s Restaurant and Marsico’s del Caribe only to name a few. During the day he worked as a landscaper for Landscaping Unlimited. George was a devoted husband and wonderful father to all his children. He was loved and known by many here in the US as well as the Dominican Republic. While in the US George lost both of his parents. Today he leaves behind his wife Luz Diaz and 3 young children Andrea Diaz 16, Enrique Diaz 11, Idryahna Diaz 9 from the US and 4 other children ranging from ages 22 to 33 in the Dominican Republic.

 George nació el 3 de marzo de 1969 en Bani, República Dominicana, hijo de Luz Grecia Mateo y Enrique Díaz. Trabajó como cocinero en muchos hoteles famosos de la República Dominicana. Era un cocinero muy solicitado y era muy querido por todos los miembros de su familia en la República Dominicana. En el 1994, George se mudó a los Estados Unidos dejando atrás a sus padres, su familia y sus hijos de un matrimonio anterior en busca de un futuro mejor. Mientras estuvo en los Estados Unidos, conoció a su actual esposa de 22 años y juntos tuvieron 3 hijos. George vivió y trabajó en numerosos restaurantes en Lawrence Ma. Trabajó en La Sirena, Leo's Restaurant y Marsico's del Caribe solo por nombrar algunos. Durante el día trabajó como paisajista para Landscaping Unlimited. George fue un esposo devotado y un padre maravilloso para todos sus hijos. Fue amado y conocido por muchos aquí en los Estados Unidos, así como en la República Dominicana. Estando en los EE. UU. perdió a sus dos padres. Hoy deja atrás a su esposa Luz Díaz y 3 niños pequeños Andrea Díaz 16, Enrique Díaz 11, Idryahna Díaz 9 de los EE. UU. Y otros 4 niños entre 22 a 33 años en la República Dominicana.
