Julia S. Aquino

Julia S. Aquino, 96, of Methuen,  passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Holy Family Hospital with her family and faithful followers at her bedside. Julia was born and educated in San Pedro de Marcoris, Dominican Republic. She was daughter of the late Feliberto Silvstre and his wife Sinencia Mercedes. Julia was the beloved wife of the late Benito Aquino and along with her husband she was a faithful follower of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah' Witnesses, 130 Jackson Street, Methuen, MA. She was baptized as a Witness in 1966 and was noted for her ministry and was a Regular Pioneer who dedicated more than 70 hours monthly,  spreading the word of Jehovah. She enjoyed speaking to people about the teachings of the Bible and she loved spending with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Julia also enjoyed music.

Julia was the widow of the Benito Aquino with whom she spent more than 62 years of marriage. She is survived children, Daniel Aquino and his wife Milagros Alvarado and their children of Lawrence. Daughter, Irene Aquino and her husband Cesar Quinones and their children of Lawrence. Jesus Aquino and his wife Dominica (Reyes) Aquino and their children of Lawrence. Delia Gonzalez and her children of Methuen. Dulce Maria Rodriguez and her husband Aquilino Rodriguez and their children of Lawrence. Simeon Aquino and his wife Melania (Servante) Aquino and their children of Lawrence. Rafael Crispin and his wife Magaly (Richard) Aquino and their children of Methuen. Domingo Silvestre and his wife Lucas (Richard) Silvestre and their children of Lawrence and Felix Silvestre and his wife Hilda (Nunez) Silvestre and their children of Haverhill. She is survived by 73 loving grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by siblings, Miguel Silvestre of La Ramona , Dominican Republic, Maria De Los Santos of Bronx, NY and Amado Silvestre of San Pedro de Marcoris, Dominican Republic. Julia was predeceased by children,  Maria Teresa Silvestre, Dionisio Silvestre and Francisco Silvestre.   

A Talk will be held Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence St; Lawrence, MA 01841. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Farrah Funeral Home. 

A funeral Service will be held Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841. Julia will lay to rest on June 28, 2019 beside her husband Benito Aquino at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.

Julia S. Aquino, de 96 años, de Methuen, falleció el lunes 24 de junio de 2019 en el Holy Family Hospital con su familia y fieles seguidores junto a su cama. Julia nació y se educó en San Pedro de Marcoris, República Dominicana. Era hija del difunto Feliberto Silvstre y su esposa Sinencia Mercedes. Julia era la amada esposa del difunto Benito Aquino y junto con su esposo era una fiel seguidora del Salón del Reino de los Testigos de Jehová, 130 Jackson Street, Methuen, MA. Fue bautizada como Testigo en 1966 y se destacó por su ministerio y fue una pionera regular que dedicó más de 70 horas mensuales, difundiendo la palabra de Jehová. Le gustaba hablar con la gente acerca de las enseñanzas de la Biblia y le encantaba pasar con sus hijos, nietos, familiares y amigos. Julia también disfrutaba de la música.
Julia era la viuda del Benito Aquino con quien pasó más de 62 años de matrimonio. Ella es hijos sobrevivieron, Daniel Aquino y su esposa Milagros Alvarado y sus hijos de Lawrence. Hija, Irene Aquino y su esposo Cesar Quinones y sus hijos de Lawrence. Jesús Aquino y su esposa Dominica (Reyes) Aquino y sus hijos de Lawrence. Delia González y sus hijos de Methuen. Dulce María Rodríguez y su esposo Aquilino Rodríguez y sus hijos de Lawrence. Simeon Aquino y su esposa Melania (Servante) Aquino y sus hijos de Lawrence. Rafael Crispin y su esposa Magaly (Richard) Aquino y sus hijos de Methuen. Domingo Silvestre y su esposa Lucas (Richard) Silvestre y sus hijos de Lawrence y Félix Silvestre y su esposa Hilda Silvestre y sus hijos de Haverhill. Le sobreviven 73 nietos amorosos y 12 bisnietos. Además, le sobreviven hermanos, Miguel Silvestre de La Ramona, República Dominicana, María De Los Santos del Bronx, NY y Amado Silvestre de San Pedro de Marcoris, República Dominicana. Julia estuvo prefallecida por los niños, María Teresa Silvestre, Dionisio Silvestre y Francisco Silvestre.  
Una charla se llevará a cabo el jueves a las 6:00 p.m. en FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence St; Lawrence, MA 01841. Los amigos pueden llamar el jueves de 4:00 a 8:00 p.m. en Farrah Funeral Home.
Un servicio funerario se llevará a cabo el viernes 28 de junio de 2019 a las 11:00 a.m. en FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841. Julia descansará el 28 de junio de 2019 junto a su marido Benito Aquino en el Cementerio de Santa María Inmaculada Concepción, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.
