Lucia Oviedo Medina

Lucia Oviedo Medina of Lawrence, MA passed away peacefully on October 31, 2019 at the age of 83. Lucia was born on December 13, 1935 in Banica, Dominican Republic to Miguel Oviedo and Rosa Medina. She was the last of eight siblings.

 
Doña Lucia loved to cook and you were always guaranteed a meal at any hour of any day. She enjoyed spending her summer days outdoors tending to her garden. Lucia filled the world with joy and laughter and cared deeply for those around her.

Lucia is survived by her daughter Kenia Furcal Oviedo and her granddaughters Kayla and Kaisy Rosario of Lawrence, MA. She is also survived by her son Leonardo Furcal Oviedo and her granddaughters Marielis, Sally and Erika Furcal of Passaic, New Jersey. 

Funeral services for Lucia will be held on Tuesday November 5, 2019 from 4pm - 8pm at Farrah Funeral Home 133 Lawrence Street Lawrence, MA 01841.
