Ramona Maria Rodriguez

Ramona Maria Rodriguez, 97, passed away  peacefully on January 31, 2019 with her daughter by her side at the Wingate at Andover in Andover, MA.   Ramona was born in Cotui, Dominican Republic on May 27, 1921. Her biggest love was spending time with her family.   She is survived by her sister, Diana Garcia from New York City, NY, daughter, Mercedes Ortega from Windham, NH, grandson,  Christopher Luis Ortega and his wife, Nashlyssette Ortega from Lawrence, MA, granddaughter, Jennifer Baird and her husband, Stephen Baird from Auburn, NH as well as her grandchildren, Alexander Espada, Talitzia Ortega, Isabella Baird, Christopher Santos Ortega, Stephen Baird, II, Sophia Baird, and great grandsons, Jaythian Antonio  Espada and Cyrus Ortega,  nieces Iris Garcia, Genarina Garcia, and nephews, Agustin Garcia and Alberto Garcia. She was predeceased by her husband, Santos Rodriguez and sister, Maria Gavilan.

Family and friends may call on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 4pm to 8pm at Farrah Funeral Home, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA.   A private graveside burial will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

Ramona María Rodríguez, de 97 años, falleció el 31 de enero de 2019 con su hija en sul lado en el Wingate en Andover en Andover, Massachusetts. Ramona nació en Cotui, República Dominicana el 27 de mayo de 1921. A Ramona le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia.   Le sobreviven su hermana, Diana García, de la ciudad de Nueva York, NY, su hija, Mercedes Ortega, de Windham, NH, su nieto, Christopher Luis Ortega y su esposa, Nashlyssette. Ortega de Lawrence, MA, nieta, Jennifer Baird y su esposo, Stephen Baird de Auburn, NH, sus nietos, Alexander Espada, Talitzia Ortega, Isabella Baird, Christopher Santos Ortega, Stephen Baird, II, Sophia Baird, y bisnietos, Jaythian Antonio Espada y Cyrus Ortega, sobrinas Iris Garcia, Genarina Garcia y sobrinos Agustin Garcia y Alberto Garcia.  Fue precedido por su esposo, Santos Rodríguez y su hermana, Maria Gavilan.

Familia  y amigos pueden visitar el lunes 4 de febrero de 2019 de 4pm a 8pm en Farrah Funeral Home, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA. El entierro privado se realizará el martes 5 de febrero de 2019.
