Ramona Serrano

Ramona Serrano, 92, of Lawrence passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at WoodMill Nursing and Rehabilition Center with her family at her bedside. Ramona was born and educated in Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Theresa Serrona and her husband Juan Candelario. A homemaker, ramona raised eight children in puerto Rico before moving to Lawrence with her family in late 1950's. She was a stitcher at Cardinal Shoe in Lawrence. Ramona enjoyed being at home with her family and preparingbtradional Puerto Rican dishes for her children and grandchildren. 

She was the widow of david Nunez and is survived by daughters, Ana Nunez and Maria Nunez both of Lawrence. In addition, she is also survived by 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons: Jorge E. Nunez, David Nunez, Enrique Nunez, Alfredo Nunez and Nelson Nunez.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.

Burial will follow at St. mary - Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
