Yahaira L Colon

Yahaira L. Colon, 30, of North Andover passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Lawrence General Hospital. Yahaira was born Methuen and was educated in the Lawrence School and attended Haverhill High School. Her family recalls Yahaira as hopeful, full of life and a caregiver to her family and her patients and in her last job caring for the children at the day care. She was Certified Nurse Assistant who had worked Brightview North Andover and a PCA for Northeast Ark and was Teacher Assistant for My Creative Learning Center in Lawrence. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Lawrence. Yahaira enjoyed listen to music, dancing and mostly devoting her life to her four children who survive her, 14 year old Jose Reyes, 12 year old  Yarinette Reyes, 7 year old Joel Valentin and5 year old Armani Valentin. In addition Yahaira is survived by her mother Besty Cruz of Lawrence and her father Jose Colon of Lawrence and 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She was predeceased by her brother Jose "Machi" Colon.    

A funeral mass will be offered Monday, January 20, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA 01843.
