Aida Brito Obituary

Aida E. Brito, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Aida was born and educated in Ponce, Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Jose Antonio Esmurrias and his wife Aida Quiones. She moved to Massachusetts with mother and two siblings when she was 12 years old.

Aida is remembered as a wonderful cook who as a single Mom raised 4 children. She enjoyed caring for children and later her grand children. 

Aida was a longtime volunteer at Cor Unum helping those in need.

She is survived by by children, Gricel Arzola and her husband Pedro Arzola and their children of Sarasota, FL; Jessenia Brito and her companion Jarad Wareing and their two children and two grandchildren all of Lawrence; Casandra Ramos and her companion Sabad Urbina and their two children of Haverhill; and Jose Ramos and his wife, Natalia Ramos and their seven children and two grandchildren all of Methuen.

In addition, Aida is survived by her brother Ricardo Perez and his family of Puerto Rico and one sister: Betzaida Esmurrias and her companion, Felipe Vazquez and their three children and 11 grandchildren all of Lawrence. 

Aida was predeceased by her brother, Jose Antonio Esmurrias, Jr. 

Friends may call Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.
