Alfredo J Vieira

Alfredo Vieira, husband of Maria L. Vieira passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at home with his wife and children a his bedside. Alfredo was born and educated in Faial, Azores, Portugal, the son of Manuel Vieira and his wife Maria Santos Vieira. He came Massachusetts in 1970. He was a former parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Church until its closing and a member St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence. Alfredo had worked as a fancy wood finish carpenter for Batesville Casket Company in Nashua, NH before his retirement. He enjoyed wood working in his basement shop, flea markets, antiquing and taking long rides with his wife and family. In addition to his wife Maria (Silva) Vieira, he is survived by three daughters and sons in-law. Fatima Vidal and husband  Frenchy Vidal of Methuen; Alfredina Batson and husband Dana Batson of Chester New Hampshire and Helia Adelino and husband Serafim Adelino of Ponte Vedra Florida. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren and many other loving relatives including nieces nephews and caring in-laws.

A funeral service with graveside blessing will be held, Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 9:00 at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA.
