Altagracia Rodriguez also known as “Tatá”, passed away at the age of 90 years old on March 16, 2024, at Lawrence General Hospital. She was the widow of Aridio Rodriguez, they shared a loving marriage of 52 years. Born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Nibaje, Dominican Republic. She was the daughter of Juan Antonio Estrella and Felicita Nuñez. In her early years of life, she enjoyed swimming in “El Rio Yaque” and going on family trips to the campo or the beach. She migrated to Massachusetts in 1976 where she lived in the city of Methuen and the city of Lawrence. She worked sewing and working with textiles at Samuel Roberts and Malden Mills where her seamstress skills, were put to use. Amongst her favorite things were flowers, cooking, baking, and listening to oldies. She enjoyed cooking special dishes for her family and caring for her grandchildren. Now that Altagracia “tatá” is no longer with us, she has parted to be with her late husband Aridio, and predeceased son Eulalio “Lalito” Rodriguez. She is survived by her daughter Francia Veras. Her grandchildren Esmirna Gaddis, Eulalio “Coco” Rodriguez Jr., Francis “Titi” Veras, and Carla Veras-Claudio. Her great-grandchildren, Selena Mosley, Arienny Rodriguez, Samaris Rodriguez, Nathaniel Rodriguez, Nadalyia Rodriguez, Jack Gaddis, and her great-great-grandchildren, Heisha and Jarmell. Together with her daughter-in-law, Paula Cecilia Rodriguez, her son-in-law, Jose Veras-Vital, and grand son-in-law Roland Claudio. She will be dearly missed by her family. The funeral service will be held on Thursday evening, March 21st from 4 pm-8 pm. at Farah Funeral Home, 133 Lawrence St. Lawrence, MA 01841. The memorial service on Friday morning, March 22nd at 10 am again at Farah Funeral Home. The procession will take place soon after at St.Patrick’s Parish, 118 S Broadway St. Lawrence, MA 01843 for a Requiem mass to honor Altagracia’s life, we will then resume procession to St. Mary - Immaculate Conception Cemetery Lawrence, MA.

Altagracia Rodríguez también conocida como “Tatá”, falleció a la edad de 90 años el 16 de marzo de 2024 en el Hospital General Lawrence. Era viuda de Aridio Rodríguez, compartieron un matrimonio amoroso de 52 años. Nacida en Santiago de los Caballeros, Nibaje, República Dominicana. Era hija de Juan Antonio Estrella y Felicita Núñez. Desde pequeña le gustaba nadar en el Río Yaque tambien ir de viajes con su familia al campo ó a la playa. Emigró a Massachusetts en el 1976 donde vivió en la ciudad de Methuen y la ciudad de Lawrence. Trabajó con textiles y cosiendo en Samuel Roberts y Malden Mills, donde puso en práctica sus habilidades de costurera. Entre sus cosas favoritas estaban las flores, cocinar, hornear y escuchar canciones del ayer. Le gustaba cocinar platos especiales para su familia y cuidar a sus nietos. Ahora que Altagracia “Tatá” ya no está con nosotros, a partido para estar junto a su difunto esposo Aridio y su fallecido hijo Eulalio “Lalito” Rodríguez. Le sobreviven su hija Francia Veras. Sus nietos Esmirna Gaddis, Eulalio “Coco” Rodríguez Jr., Francis “Titi” Veras y Carla Veras-Claudio. Sus bisnietos, Selena Mosley, Arienny Rodriguez, Samaris Rodriguez, Nathaniel Rodriguez, Nadalyia Rodriguez, Jack Gaddis y sus tataranietos, Heisha y Jarmell. También junto a ellos su nuera Paula Cecilia Rodríguez, su yerno José Veras-Vital, y su nieto político Roland Claudio. Los cuales la extrañaran muchisimo. El funeral se llevará a cabo el jueves 21 de marzo por la tarde de 4pm a 8 pm, en la funeraria Farah. En el 133 Lawrence St. Lawrence, MA 01841. El servicio conmemorativo sera el viernes, 22 de marzo por la mañana nuevamente en la funeraria Farah a las 10 am. La procesión se llevará a cabo poco después hacia la Paroquia de San Patricio, en el 118 S Broadway St. Lawrence, MA 01843 para una misa de cuerpo presente honorando la vida de Altagracia, luego reanudaremos la procesión hacia el Cementerio La Inmaculada Concepción de Santa María en Lawrence, MA
