Antonio Rodriguez

Antonio Rodriguez, 88, of Lawrence died on Thursday,  September 25, 2020 at Holy Family hospital with his family at his bedside. Antonio was born and educated in Tenares, Dominican Republic the son of the late Belin Rodriguez and his wife Maria Lopez. He worked as a farmer while living in the Dominican Republic.  He and his wife, Gregoria Reynoso emigrated to the United States in 1987, first settling in New York and moving to Lawrence in 2002 to join family there. Antonio enjoyed maintaining a garden, his home and yard.  He was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence. 

He is survived his wife of 69 years, Gregoria Reynoso of Lawrence. Children: Felix Rodriguez and his partner, Maria Peralta of Pennyslvania; Roma Rodriguez of Lawrence; Mirella Rodriguez of Lawrence; Rafael Rodriguez and his wife, Angelica Peralta of Brooklyn, NY; Maria Mersede Rodriguez and her companion,  Ramon Lopez of Lawrence; Fernando Rodriguez and his wife, Carmen Elena (Rodriguez) of Lawrence; Jose Ramon Rodriguez and his wife, Christina Rojas of Brooklyn, NY; Isabel Rodriguez and her husband Carmelo Rodriguez of Lawrence; Adriano Rodriguez and his wife Grecieda Cartejena of Bronx, NY; Nersida Rodriguez and her husband Bernardo Almonte of Virginia; Adalisa Rodriguez and her husband Romero Lopez of Methuen; andLeonardo Rodriguez and his wife, Diana of Pennsylvania.

38 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition, he is survived brothers: Alejandro Rodriguez of Lawrence; Ismael Rodriguez of Lawrence; Esfrain Rodriguez of Santo Domingo and Rafael Rodriguez of Bronx, NY and a sister Lidia Rodriguez of Virginia; Sira Rodriguez of Santo Domingo and Casilda Rodriguez of Pennsylvania.  He was predeceased by a brother Humberto Rodriguez and sisters, Juana Rodriguez and Dominga Rodriguez.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 10:00 am at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence. Friends may call Monday, September 28, 2020 at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
