Obituary
Bartola De Leon Alvarez, 69, passed away on Thursday March 31, 2022 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston after a short illness. Bartola was born and educated in Blanco Ariba, Tenares, Dominican Republic. She was the daughter of the late Juan Maria de Leon and his wife Luz Maria Alvarez. Bartola was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence and had retired as a machine operator from Milliken Corp.
A funeral mass will be offered Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence. Burial will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
