Bernardo Joaquin

Bernardo Joaquin 45, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday morning, May 4th, 2021, at his mother’s house. He had been battling diabetes for years and is now in heaven with his loved ones. 
He was born in Methuen MA. He grew up in a couple different states including Massachusetts, Florida, and the Dominican Republic. He has been a resident of Manchester, NH for 24 years. During his high school years, he attended Greater Lawerence Regional Voc Tech. He was employed at Harveys window industry for many years. He loved crafting  windows and could fix almost anything.
Bernie was dedicating to collecting 80’s memorabilia, exploring different thrift stores, fixing cars, and raising his beautiful daughters. He enjoyed good food, lots of laughs, and being with his family and friends. Some of his favorite past times were watching M*A*S*H, The Brady Brunch, The Christmas Story, Marvel Movies, summer days by the lakes, camping, and helping his family and friends in anyway that he could. Anyone who knew Bernie knows of his kind heart and ability to always give a helping hand. 
Beloved son of Inocencia Torres and Fulgencio Torres. He was a loving father of Alexis, Aliyah, Olivia, and Angelina Miner-Joaquin. One of 5 siblings, he was the brother of Luz Torres, Moly Joaquin, Giovanni Torres, Jennifer Torres and Todd Torres. Bernie is also survived by many nieces and nephews. His niece Maurelis being his God Daughter.

Friends may call Friday, April 7, 2021 from 4-8 pm at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.

A funeral Service will be held at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery, in Lawrence, MA.
