Berta Bonilla

Berta Bonilla Sandoval born on January 22,1941, in her hometown Jalapa, Guatemala. 

 was called to be with the Lord on the morning of November 21, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family.

Berta was a mother of eight children, twenty-five grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Navigating life as a widower was truly a challenge, a challenge which helped shaped her into the strong, passionate, dedicated woman. Berta devoted her life to worshipping the Lord, she looked forward to Sunday’s worship in her local church where she attended for nearly 15 years.  She truly enjoyed the small details in life, she valued family and enjoyed cooking her famous recipes for those around her. She will be remembered for her pink nail polish, perfectly black straight hair, unique taste in fashion but overall she will be remembered as a loving soul who lighted up the room  with her simple smile. Our spirits rejoice knowing she is fulfilled in the presence of the Lord and will forever be treasured in our hearts.

Berta Bonilla Sandoval nació el 22 de enero de 1941 en su ciudad natal Jalapa, Guatemala.

 Fue llamada a estar con el Señor la mañana del 21 de Noviembre de 2021 rodeada de su amada familia.

Berta era madre de ocho hijos, veinticinco nietos y dieciocho bisnietos. 

Navegar por la vida como viuda fue realmente un desafío, desafío que ayudó a convertirla en una mujer fuerte, apasionada y dedicada. Berta dedicó su vida a adorar al Señor; esperaba con ansias la adoración del Domingo en su iglesia local, a la que asistió durante casi 15 años. Realmente disfrutaba de los pequeños detalles de la vida, valoraba a la familia y disfrutaba cocinar sus famosas recetas para quienes la rodeaban. 

Ella será recordada por su esmalte de uñas rosa, cabello perfectamente negro, lacio y gusto único en la moda, pero en general será recordada como un alma amorosa que iluminó la habitación con su simple sonrisa. Nuestros espíritus se regocijan sabiendo que ella está satisfecha en la presencia del Señor y será atesorada para siempre en nuestros corazones.
