Chahine S. Ramey, 94, of Methuen passed away at home on Sunday, May 9, 2021 with his wife and children at his side. Chahine was born and educated in Falougha, Lebanon, the son of the late Sassine Ramey and his wife, Mazloumy (AbouDiwan) Ramey. He emigrated to the United States to Methuen, MA in 1982 and was a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Maronite Church in Lawrence. He enjoyed gardening and working around the house but mostly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loving family.

He is survived by his wife Jamal (Noufaily) Ramey of Methuen;

Sons Issam Ramey and his wife, Jill (Black) and their family of Methuen and

Chadi Ramey and his wife Sandy (Anastassi) and their family of Methuen;

Daughter Hiba Ramey, wife of Jeremy Fennelly and their family of Escondido, CA;

Sister in law Rosine Ramey, widow of Naim Ramey, their children and their families;

The children of his dearly departed brother Rizkallah Ramey and their families;

Sister in law Nadia (Ghazal), widow of his brother Youssef Ramey, their children and their families;

Sister Cecilia Ramey, widow of Elias BouMalaham, their children and their families.

The Families of Ramey and Noufaily in Falougha and Mtayleb and the Black, Anastassi, Fennelly, and BouMalham along with relatives in Lebanon and abroad announce with great sorrow the loss of their beloved family patriarch Chahine, the one who rests in the hope of the glorious resurrection.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 6:00 pm at ST. ANTHONY MARONITE CHURCH, 145 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.
 
Burial will be the following day,  Wednesday May 12, 2021 at 1030 am at St Anthony Cemetery, North Lowell Street Methuen, MA 01844.

Friends may attend a Funeral Mass, Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 6:00 pm at ST. ANTHONY MARONITE CHURCH, 145 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.

Burial will be on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 10:30 am in St. Anthony Cemetery, North Lowell Street, Methuen, MA 01844.
