Cruz Fernandez

Hi I am Rose ,daughter I appreciate you all coming out to celebrate the life of my father while he was unstable to beat cancer he was a fighter through and through .growing up he always taught me to stand up for myself and let people know what I think he raised me to be a strong confident and hard-working woman I will never forget the time that he always taught me how to stand up to the bully when I was at a young age.

Cruz Fernandez born on November 24 1958 in savana grande Republic Dominican a joyful son brother and uncle to many in the Dominican Republic. Cruz at the age of 20 travel to Puerto Rican and met my mom where 2 years later got married and started having children from there move to Chelsea mass as a family and had last child . Cruz Fernandez was a loving man to those who knew him love by all his friends and family he was the best person you will ever meet , walk into a room and the room will light up. Cruz took on the role to be mother and father to all his kids a big position that not many can step up and filled. He thought all his kids right from wrong and how to be successful, his whole life he cared about his entire family. He worked hard all his life to provide and make sure his family was always going to be good. He was so humble and always appreciated the little things in life. 

He had my back the whole time and I always feel safe when he was around even when I was stepping out of my comfort zone the theme  carried into my adulthood no matter the ups and downs that I face I could always count on him he had a strong presence that too many may have seemed intimidating  but he had a gentle side you could tell him anything and he knew that he would never judge you but instead he would encourage you to follow your instincts.

He was such a hard worker and was there for anyone who needed him. He will be truly missed by everyone . Cruz was  amazing father and grandfather the love he he show his grandkids was like no other. Leeaniah granddaughter will not go 1 day without having to go find her grandfather when she couldn’t see him. Time are like this we need to remember he with god and it watching over us. on his free time he loved to spend time with his friends and family where their will be laughter and joy all around. 

We will always remember that special smile, that Caring heart, that warm in brace you always gave us. we will always remember you dad because they will never be another one to replace you in our hearts and the love we will always have for you, may your soul Rest In Peace.
