Darryl Pierre

Darryl Pierre, a resident of Lawrence, MA died unexpectedly of a Cardiac Arrest on April 22, 2021, at the age of 33 surrounded by his mother and loved ones. Darryl is survived by his mother Marie Hilda Pierre and Father Dunord Ferodus and half-brother Johnny Ferodus, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Darryl was born in Manhattan, New York, where he loved to visit yearly and spend time with childhood friends, and family. He grew up in Harlem, New York then later moved to Lawrence, MA.

Darryl was a loving son, nephew, cousin, and friend. Although he spent most of his life ill, he made sure to enjoy every little moment and remained upbeat. He enjoyed listening to his favorite musician Brandy, making videos, taking pictures, watching movies, and spending time with his best friend, his Mother. Darryl attended Northern Essex Community College for a short term. He was unable to finish his degree due to all of his illnesses. Darryl began to write a book about all of his sicknesses and how he dealt with it, with the help of his social worker Dianne and her sister who is a professor. Darryl will be sorely missed by everyone who had a chance to meet him. Darryl went through a long term of Dialysis treatment due to multiple kidney failures. The family would like to thank his entire Dialysis team at Fresenius Kidney Care that took exceptionally good care of him as well as his sickle cell medical team.
