Dorilda "Lila" Lucia Tavarez Gomez, 91, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 25, 2020 with her family at her bedside and surrounded by her loved ones. Lila was born and educated in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She was the daughter of Balbina Tavarez. Lila was a kindhearted soul who asked for little and always gave so much. Her laughter, enchanting smile, and sparkly personality will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

A funeral mass will be offered Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.

Friends may call Monday, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on July 27, 2020 at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.
