Edelmira Hercilia Moreno López de Villatoro

Edelmira Hercilia Moreno López de Villatoro, 100 años of Haverhill passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019  peacefully at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Villatoro was born in Guatemala.  Only daughter of Agapito Moreno and his wife Cándida Emilia López. She was married to Adán Villatoro Graves for 71 years and together they raised a family of 8 children in Guatemala.

She was predeceased by her sons: Esdras Isaías and Adán Jeremías. She is survived by her 6 children: David Nehemías & [Imagen relacionada] Rosita; Eva Ismelda; Raquel Emilia & Oscar; Ruth Noemí & Bob; Lidia Esperanza & Daniel; Ana Ester & Fernando; 26 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

A funeral service will be offered Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 4:00 to 8:00 pm at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence St; Lawrence, MA 01841 Then she will be transported and buried in Guatemala on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in Cementerio General, Zacapa, Guatemala. 

In lieu of flowers, the family will accept your kind donations and help to return her to her peace in Guatemala.

*****DUE TO THE SNOWSTORM, THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS TODAY, JANUARY 19, 2019 AT 12:00 NOON FOR A WAKE SERVICE WITH EDELMIRA'S REMAINS LAYING IN STATE. HER REMIANS WILL THEN BE TRANSPORTED TO LOGAN AIRPORT FOR HER TRIP HOME TO GUATEMALA CITY.******the family will also receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm as previously scheduled tonight. Thank you.
