Edmund P. Beshara (August 18, 1929 - May 9, 2020)
Passed away Saturday afternoon after his courageous fight with Corona virus. Edmund now joins his wife Marcella (Bolis) Beshara, his parents: Peter and Nahil, his brothers, Charles and Peter and Samuel and his wife, Doris (Oldham) Beshara, his sisters Rachel Beshara and Evelyn and her husband Elias Gabriel. Nephews Raymond Beshara, Edmund (Ike) Gabriel and niece Lisa (Gabriel) Green of recent passing.
Edmund is survived by: his daughter Leslie Beshara and her companion, Teague Shultz of Pepperell MA, his sons Charles Beshara and his wife Ellen and their daughter, Edmund's only grandchild, Ava of Salem NH and son Edmund (Eddie) Beshara also of Salem NH. His brothers-in law, Joseph Bolis and his wife, Ann Elizabeth (Lamb) of Salem NH and their children, Elizabeth (Bolis) Burke and her husband Michael of Delmar NY; John Bolis formerly of Salem; Jacqueline (Bolis) Quinlan and her husband Neil of Methuen MA and Michael Bolis of Truro MA. His God-son/nephew David Beshara of Haverhill MA, nieces Christine Beshara of Haverhill MA, Neal (Beshara) Dunn and her husband Frank of Salem NH, Leslie (Beshara) Coughlin and her husband Gary of Danville NH and Michelle (Shelly) Beshara of Bonita Springs FL. In addition, Edmund is survived by his beloved first cousin David Beshara and his wife Elizabeth (Perry) Beshara of Salem NH and their son and his nephew, David Beshara of Boston MA and cousin, Donna (Beshara) Mullen and her husband Richard of Needham, MA. He will be sadly missed by several great-nieces, great-nephews and long-time and faithful friends.
Edmund was educated at Lincoln Institute of Boston and was the President and founder of Salem Engineering & Construction Corporation and CCM Corporation which he ran with his wife Marcy and son Charles. Later he founded Target Construction of Salem. Edmund loved traveling to the islands with Marcy and family vacations with his children; spending time with his friends and enjoyed holidays with his family. Edmund will be remembered best for his very generous spirit, witty sense of humor, a loving father, a fun uncle, a great brother and friend to all of us.
There will be a private burial, time to be determined pending restrictions due to the Corona virus.
