Rev. Elisa Soto Valentin, 88, of Lawrence MA, formerly of Boston MA, passed away on September 4, 2023. Elisa was born on April 12,1935 in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico. Daughter of the late Regina Lugo and Juan Valentin. Elisa was married for 54 years to her beloved husband, Rev. Esteban Soto until his passing in 2009.
Elisa is the loving mother of the late Dennis, Esteban and Elizabeth and is survived by her children Esteban Jr., Abigail and son-in-law Misael Alvira, Isaias, Eli Esther and son-in-law Michael Hoglund. Her grandchildren: Isai, Abby-Thamara, Amanda and her husband Edward Powell, Esteban V, Elisa, Gabriel and Raquel. Her great-grandchildren: Jesse, James and Penelope. Her sisters: Doris, Cecilia, Hilda and Marina and their loving husbands. And her extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins who love her dearly.
She also leaves behind her Asamblea de Iglesias Cristianas spiritual family where she fervently dedicated her life to expanding the kingdom of God not only in Massachusetts, but also during her years of missionary service in Central and South America.
Elisa will be greatly missed and she will live forever in our hearts.
