Esperanza Abreu passed away at home surrounded with the love of her family, Mrs. Abreu was born and educated in Villa Tapia, Dominican Republic, came to Lawrence in 1989 with her husband of 52 years, the Late Crispin Calderon. She was a member of St. Mary immaculate conception Catholic Church in Lawrence, where she belong to the organizations of El Sagrado Corazón De Jesus and the legion of Mary , she enjoyed volunteering at church, cooking for her family and friends.
She is survived by her children Solangel her husband Wilton Ortega, Franklyn Calderon and his wife Julissa, Fernando Calderon and his wife Aniberca , her grandchildren Wilton Angel, Gabriel, Xiara, Jacob, Melvin, Maria Fernanda Yonandi, , and one Great-granddaughter Mia. Also by her sisters, Paula, Maria y Aura and brothers Lorenzo y Jose she was also the sisters of the late lucia and Rafael Abreu.
Calling hours will be Monday 4 to 8 pm following funeral mass service Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Mary immaculate conception Catholic Church finalizing Christian burial at St. Mary immaculate cemetery in Lawrence.
