Hector Arroyo

Hector William Arroyo was born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico July 13, 1948, the son of the the late Victor Arroyo and his wife Maria Adriana Rivera. He was educated in Puerto Rico and graduated from high school there. 

Hector was a father, son, husband, uncle and grandfather. We lost him this past Friday, August 31st, 2021, due to COPD.

Hector was a good man and he was a fighter, who made people laugh when they were surrounded by him.

He loved bananas, scratch tickets, listening to the radio. You couldn’t touch that radio.

He was very loved. He was a father to five children: Hector Arroyo and his children, Emily Arroyo of Lawrence and  Yari Arroyo of Troy NY; Carlos Arroyo and his companion Jaee and his children Carlos Arroyo, Jr; Lyednis Arroyo, Elvia Arroyo, Carleny Arroyo of Lawrence; Melissa Arroyo and her daughters, Tanisha Ortiz, Charlene Rios and Yailin Rios of Lawrence; and Carmen Arroyo and her daughter, Carmen Velasquez of Lawrence. Hector raised all his grandchildren. He will very much be missed. Gone, but never forgotten.
