Iris Lizzett Vega Delgado

Iris L. Vega Delgado, 34 of Lawrence passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Iris was born in New York the daughter of Maria Morales and Herberto Vega. She moved to Lawrence in 1986 and graduated from Lawrence High School.  A homemaker, Iris was noted be being a excellent baker, a fancy pastry maker whose specialty was cakes, cookies and brownies. Her family remembers her "double chocolate fudge brownies" as the best. When Iris wasn't baking she was, cleaning, listening to music, dancing and reading. Iris also enjoyed "girls time" which was spending time with her 2 daughters and made plenty of time for her two sons.

Iris is survived by her children: Nomari Yanis Colon Vega; Shanary Zena Delgado Vega; Exavien Tristian and Xander Legend. She is also survived by her parents Maria Morales and Herberto Vega as well as several aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces and nephews.
