Jacinta Calderon

Jacinta Calderon Feliciano was born on August 16th, 1948 to her parents Ramon Alejandro Calderon and Rosa Maria Feliciano in the city of Vega Alta Puerto Rico. She was part of a large number of siblings born to both of her parents. She is survived by her five sons Guillermo, Ramon, Pascual, Samuel and Martin, of whom four reside in MA and one in NY.  She is further survived by 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Jacinta parted from this world the evening of January 2nd, 2022 in her home, where she desired to be until the end of her days. She was surrounded by love from those who cared for her until God called her to be in his presence.  

To many she was known as abuela Jacinta and will continue to be for as long as she is outlived by family members. She was a woman perceived as rough around the edges, but with a kind and loving heart; always having everyone’s best interest at heart. She was an outstanding example of what it is to fight hard battles with a great attitude of faith and passion for life. Her love for her children was the motor that kept her going even through the hardest of times, always remembering that she was and will continue to be the backbone to those whom she raised. What was most important to her was to live life to the fullest, share time with family and friends and keep God present in all things. In short, she was someone who fostered long, healthy and loving relationships with everyone around her.
