Jeffrey M Bettencourt (35) of Lawrence, Ma born November 9th 1985 passed away unexpectedly on March 1st 2021 due to complications of diabetes. Jeffrey was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in 2003. He was a known football player for Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. He later attended Salem State University with the intentions of studying law until the time of his sickness. He leaves behind his Mother Maria Scotti of Lawrence, Ma, Father Joe M Bettencourt of Salem, Ma, His brothers Brian Bettencourt of Magnolia, DE, Matthew Scotti of Magnolia, DE, David Bettencourt of Cape Cod, and Daniel Bettencourt of Cape Cod. He also leaves behind his Maternal grandmother Idalina Melo of Lawrence, Ma and Paternal grandmother Isabel Melo of Peabody, Ma. He also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a nephew Andre Bettencourt. He is also pre deceased by his Maternal Grandfather Antonio X Melo, Paternal Grandfather Manuel S Bettencourt and his uncles Fernando X Melo.  Jeffrey enjoyed being with his family, he also enjoyed playing the drums when he was younger. Jeffrey was one of a kind, always willing to give when in need. He also liked attending family functions and attending barbecues. Jeffrey always had a smile on his face wether if he was having a good day or a bad day. Jeffrey will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
