Juan Bolivar Hernandez, a technician for Xfinity and a resident of Haverhill, died unexpectedly on April 5, 2021, at the age of 42 in a tragic car accident.
Boli is survived by his life partner, Amariliz Vasquez; his daughter Kataleya Hernandez; parents Gisela and Juan Hernandez; sister Karina Hernandez-Montanez and her husband Francisco Montanez; brothers Edward and Juan Carlos Hernandez; sisters Vivian and Susan (deceased) Hernandez; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Boli was born in Monte Plata, Dominican Republic, where he loved to visit yearly and spend time with friends and family. He grew up in Lawrence, Mass. He purchased a home in Haverhill where he resided with his partner and daughter.
Boli was a loving son, brother, father, partner and friend. He was full of energy and made his presence known, when he arrived. He enjoyed many activities throughout his life. He was a participant in pool table clubs, motorcycle groups, softball teams, poker groups and recently golfing. He enjoyed fishing which he specially did with his dad, Juan. He was very proud of the life he made and the family he had established with Amariliz and Kataleya. Boli made an impact on many lives, he will be missed dearly.
Calling hours will be at Farrah Funeral Home in Lawrence on Monday, April 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 13, at 9 a.m., beginning at Farrah Funeral Home and culminating at Bellevue Cemetery.
