Obituary
Pastor Juan M Manuel Monge originally from Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, long time resident of Lawrence, MA passed away on April 26, 2023 at his home. Retiree of Raytheon Company which he worked 40 years.
He was widowed to the deceased Nilsa Josefina Monge-Irizarry. Survived by his daughter Rebeca Monge, son Eliezer Monge and his wife Marie Calvo and granddaughters Shannea Monge, Noelle Monge and Reese Monge, he is also survived by 4 brothers and 1 sister, nieces; nephews; and his favorite cousin Margarita and extended family.
Pastor Juan was a philanthropist who was guided by (Mathew 22: 35-40) Thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the prophets.
He was a great loving, considerate friend who was always helping fellow church members and strangers, he was full of life, laughter and energy. He loved God, studying the doctrine, fishing, listening to music, going to flea markets, cooking for others and collecting match box cars among other things.
