Luz Henriquez

Luz Maria Henriquez, age 81, passed away peacefully July 13th, 2021. Born on December 12th, 1939 in Tenares, Dominican Republic. She was a loving wife to late Antonio Henriquez who preceded her in death in August 2001.

She dedicated her life to her husband and children. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly and always was very much family oriented. 

Luz loved to talk about Tenares and her days living there, and in the “campo”. She would tell us stories about her life as a young wife and mother, and the adventures of her children at a young age. She enjoyed watching the news and TV shows such as novelas and “Caso Cerrado”. 

Luz is survived by her 3 sons and 2 daughters, Danilo Henriquez, Daniel Henriquez, Miguel Henriquez, Ramona Henriquez and Miguelina Henriquez; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Luz Maria Henriquez, de 81 anos de edad, fallecio pacificamente 13 de Julio, 2021. Nacio Diciembre 12, 1939 en Tenares, Republica Dominicana. Fue una esposa amorosa hasta el final a Antonio Henriquez quien Tambien fallecio en Agosto, 2001.

Luz dedico su vida a su esposo, y sus hijos. Amaba a todos sus nietos y bisnietos. A ella le encantaba estar arededor de su familia.

Luz le encantaba hablar de sus viejos tiempos en Tenares y cuando vivian en el “campo”.

Contaba historias de su vida cuando joven esposa y madre, y de las travesuras de sus hijos cuando ninos. Le gustaba ver noticias, novelas, y sus show “Caso Cerrado”.

Luz deja a sus 3 hijos y 2 hijas, Danilo Henriquez, Daniel Henriquez, Miguel Henriquez, Ramona Henriquez and Miguelina Henriquez; sus nietos y bisnietos.

Filipenses 3:20-2

 En cambio, nosotros somos ciudadanos del cielo, de donde anhelamos recibir al Salvador, el Señor Jesucristo. 21 Él transformará nuestro cuerpo miserable para que sea como su cuerpo glorioso, mediante el poder con que somete a sí mismo todas las cosas.
