Maria Fabian Rodriguez

 Maria Fabian, 73, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on September 25th, with her family by her side. Maria was born in the Dominican Republic, daughter of Negro Rodriguez and Dolores Fabian. There she learned to cook from the women in the family, a skill that became her love language. She eventually settled in Lawrence with her children and loved and helped care for her numerous grand- and great-grand-children. Universally loved for her simple, caring approach to life and for the delicious food she made for those around her, Maria’s passing leaves a hole in her family and community. Maria was predeceased by her husband, Lorenzo Jaquez and her son, Jose Jaquez. She is survived by her children Luis Jaquez, Andre Jaquez, Patricia Jaquez, Marisol Jaquez, Lourdes Jaquez, Maria Jaquez, and Lorenza Jaquez, and by her beloved grandchildren and their families.
