Mary M. Burke Mason

Lawrence – Mary M. (Burke) Mason, 58 of Lawrence passed away on January 10,
2023, at her home.
Born in Winchester and raised in Stoneham, she was the daughter of the late
Dennis F. Burke and Margaret L. (Ryle) Burke of Boston.
Mary graduated from Stoneham High School and North Shore Community
College. She worked as a mail handler at the USPS for over twenty years.
Mary was survived by her husband, Michael W. Mason of Lawrence. She was
predeceased by her brother Francis D. Burke of Melrose. She was also survived
by her brothers, Michael of Mashpee, Paul of Wakefield and her sisters, Patricia of
Saugus, Judy of Wakefield, Susan Mele of Amesbury and Susan Burke of Melrose.
Mary was blessed with several nieces and nephews and four great nieces. She
also leaves her beloved dogs Myles and Jake.
Mary enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. She loved the beach,
especially the beaches in York, Maine. She loved to travel with her husband Mike.
She will be missed by many and always remembered for her quick wit and passion
for fun.
At the request of the family funeral services will be private.
