Mary Barbara (Fluet) Perrault, aged 92, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 28, 2023
surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 8, 1930, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Doris and Lawrence
Fluet, hailing from Springfield, Vermont. Her formative years were spent in Springfield,
before relocating to Methuen, Massachusetts during her adolescence. In 1948, she
graduated from Methuen High School. Post-graduation, Mary earned a certificate which
would pave the way for a fulfilling career at Andover Bank where she cared deeply for her
customers and fostered life-long relationships.
In her youth, Mary was a vivacious soul who relished dancing, golf, and quality time with
friends. Her sociable nature led her to form a wide circle of friends. A devout Catholic, she
held her faith dear and was an active member of the Sacred Hearts Church in Bradford,
Massachusetts.
Mary's passion for fashion and shopping was legendary and her signature
color was undoubtedly pink. She also savored her winters in Florida, where she enjoyed golf,
the warmth of the sun, and cherished the friendships she created within her community.
Some of her fondest memories were created during her travels, whether it be exploring
Hawaii or creating precious moments with her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Robert C. Fluet, and
is survived by her sister, Anne McGibbon, her brother, Ronald Fluet, her son Ted Perrault
II (Bridget), her cherished grandchildren, Ted Perrault III (Alicia), Eric Perrault (Sabrina),
and Kelsey Wensberg (Garrett), as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Mary will forever be etched in our hearts for her boundless love for her grandchildren and
her delightful sense of humor, which remained undiminished until her very last day.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate Mary's life will take place on Monday, November 6,
commencing at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at the Sacred Hearts Church, a place
close to her heart, located in Bradford, Massachusetts.
Prior to the church service, there will
be calling hours from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Sacred Hearts Church, providing an
opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects.
Following the Funeral Mass, there will be a burial ceremony at Elmwood Cemetery in
Methuen, Massachusetts.
In honor of Mary's vibrant spirit and love for the color pink, we kindly request that all
