Pura Perez (Purita) 
July 7, 1938- June 19, 2021
Pura Perez (Purita), 82, of Lawrence, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA. Purita was born  on July 2, 1938 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The daughter of the late Enrique Castro and the late Manuela Cuello. Purita moved to Lawrence in 1969 with her husband Alvaro “Bolivar” Perez, to whom she was married to for 33 years until his death. Purita worked at various mills in Lawrence as a seamstress with KGR Inc being her last employment until her retirement. She was a kind and caring person with an infectious laugh who loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to laugh, she enjoyed spending time cooking for family gatherings and playing bingo. 
Purita is survived by her two sons Alvaro Perez and Alex Perez,  four grandchildren  Alvaro “Alvarito”, Gabriel, Brandon and Daniel 
Her family is at peace knowing she has been reunited with her late husband in heaven and they are both resting in the arms of the Lord. Purita is dearly loved and will truly be missed by her family and all her friends.
