Rafael Delgado of Lawrence, Ma.
Blessed us with his birth on July 17,1960,
And departed us to be with the lord at/around 4am on the morning of August 21,2021
Rafael was born in Bo. Navaro Gurabos, Puerto Rico. Son of Rafael Delgado and Recently Deceased, Angelina Aponte of Puerto Rico. Where he grew up the older brother to Angelita Ortiz of PA, as well as Magda Delgado of NY. He was happy to be a big brother and make memories with his sisters. He also took that responsibility, as well as pride of taking care of his family early in life.
We are grateful as it shaped him to become the man we know. Very hard working, great sense of humor, strong willed, outspoken, independent, charismatic, are just some of the wonderful qualities were going to miss the most. Those qualities followed him into adulthood, where he worked as an HHA, Helping and caring for others. During his off time, you could always find him outside with his dog Sasha, or in his favorite place, The Garden. He was lucky enough to have a green thumb and could grow any fruit, Vegetable, Flower, exc.
With that big heart comes his big family of whom he is survived and remembered forever by.
Starting with his Children, Rafael Angel Delgado, Emmanuel Jose Delgado, Cristian Joel Delgado, Michael Delgado, Nichelle Delgado, and Jason Delgado.
As well as his loving best friend and wife Angie Delgado, whom knew right away she met her soul mate when they met in 1997 and has happily stood by his side for the last 24 years. He is also survived by two step sons, he and Angie have raised together, Dervison Brito, and Jeremy Cruz.
Also to carry on all the memories we will pass down are his grandchildren. Gabriella A. Delgado, Adonis J. Delgado, Levi C. Delgado, Alyssa Brito, and Arison Brito.
As hard as it is and will be we lost a beautiful soul loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, son, friend, co worker and very many more. And we like to leave him with a poem from an artist unknown:
You are not forgotten loved one,
Nor will you ever be.
As long as life, and memory lasts,
We will remember thee.
We miss you now,
Are hearts are sore.
As time goes on, we’ll miss you more.
Your loving smile,
Your gentle face,
