Ramon L. "Buddy" Moore

Ramon L. "Buddy" Moore passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home with his wife of fifty-five years and his children at his bedside. Buddy was born and educated in Apache, Oklahoma, the son of the late Albert Moore and Matilda Strickland. Buddy was the youngest of six children, four girls and two boys.

Buddy joined the United States Air Force in 1951 and was discharged ten years later in 1961. After leaving the military, Buddy made his home in the Methuen area.   Though he was not a Maronite Catholic, Buddy donated his time and energy to St. Anthony Maronite Church in Lawrence in their charitable endeavors and he made many friends.

Buddy leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife of fifty-five years, Nancy (Saad) Moore of Methuen. His older son Kevin Moore and his daughter-in-law, Sheryl and their sons, James and John as well as his younger son, Keith Moore. In addition, Buddy is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Buddy will lie in state on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 145 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA 01841. 

A funeral Liturgy will follow at 6:00 pm at St. Anthony Church.
