Rosemarie A. Kasouf

Rosemarie A. Kasouf, 90, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Greystone Farm Assisted Living in Salem, NH. Rosemarie was born in Lawrence, the only child of Alex and Mary Youngmein. She grew up as a member of St. Anthony Maronite Church in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School. Rosemarie became licensed as a Registered Nurse and worked for various physician practices, home health care and hospice agencies. On New Years Eve in 1960 she married the love of her life, James "Jimmy" Kasouf and together they enjoyed more than 60 years of marriage until his passing in November, 2021. She and Jimmy founded Imperial Shade and Blind Co at the corner of Lawrence and Parks Sts; in Lawrence. Later together they dedicated countless hours at Lazarus House helping those in need and less fortunate. 
Rosemarie is survived by several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by sisters-in-law: Olga and Margaret Kasouf, Rita Anderson, Rose Lambert and Grace Dooley. Brothers-in-law: Joseph and George Kasouf and cousins: Alice Rodrigues, Rose Martino, May Gabriel, Sadie Goolkasian, Tony and Joe Touma and George "Chubby" Ellis.
Friends may call, Monday, November 7, 2022 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at St. Joseph Greek Melkite Church, 241 Hampshire St; Lawrence, MA. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am at the church.
