Rosine Ramey, a long time Salem NH resident died on Thanksgiving Day, November 25th at the age of 91. She was born and raised in Falougha, Lebanon, the daughter of the late Ferjallah and Marie Al-Ramy. She immigrated to the US in 1978 and settled in Methuen. As a talented seamstress, she owned and operated her own alterations shop until she retired in 2005.
She was a parishioner of St Anthony Maronite Church, Lawrence, MA. She was known for her angelic voice and served as a choir member for many years.
Rosine is survived by her sons: Gaby and his wife Raghida (Ramey) Ramey, son Robert, and his wife Esti (Yuniarty) Ramey. Grandchildren Rebecca, Naim, Samir, Paul, Joelle. In addition two great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews in the United States and Lebanon.
Rosine was a kindhearted, generous and very loving matriarch. Her beautiful tender smile will be greatly missed.
Friends may pay respects on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 3:00 to 4:45 pm. at St. Anthony Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury Street, Lawerence, MA 01841. A funeral Liturgy and Mass will be offered in her memory at 5:00 p.m. at St. Anthony Maronite Church.
