Silvio Cesar Torres

Silvio Cesar Torres Angeles, our beloved father. If we can tell everything that you have done for our mother, we, your children and your grandchildren, your mother and father, your brothers and sister and their children, the De Jesus Family and friends. I would need to write a book, but I can't.

Silvio was born in a humble home in Bonao Dominican Republic 11/02/1929 to a very loving Family, Seferina and Antonio Torres and his brothers and Sisters. He learned to drive trucks from his older brother. Around 1965 he immigrated to the U.S. but returned to D.R. for a while. Thats when he met Candida De Jesus and had his first born, Silvio (Silvito).. He brought at the time his little family to the States and then came three more: Albert, George and Doralisa. 

He was a hard working loving father who gave his all for his family. Working two jobs for many years to support us. At the same time never stop supporting his parents and any sibling who needed help. In 1992 he retired from the Town of Arlington, MA, but he didn't stop working doing deliveries until he couldn’t drive any more. 

Our father died very peacefully Saturday 23,2022 at the young age of 92. He will be missed, but never forgotten. He was survived by our mother Candida Torres and his children: Silvio, Albert, George, Doralisa Torres. 10 grandchildren.: Manuel Matos, Julio, Alejandro, Jonathan Delgado; 

Amanda, Emilio, Leonardo Torres; Silvio III, Sophia Torres; Julius Torres: Great-granddaughter Gabriella Symonette: And the last surviving Sibling Maria Torres de Abreu (Tia Nena).
