Therese Al Sayah

On Thursday, May 23, 2019 our beloved Therese Al Sayah of 79 years departed peacefully this Earth to join our Heavenly Father, Blessed Mary and all the celestial beings.
Theresa was born in Turbol, Lebanon as the fourth child of eight siblings. As a young married woman she lived with her husband and children for the majority of her life in Kabelias, Lebanon. Therese was a parishioner of St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church in Lawrence. 
She used her abilities to create beauty within and outside of her home. Her love of cooking developed into an art here and in Lebanon as she generously lavished family, friends and acquaintances with her famed Lebanese recipes.
Therese will be forever sealed in the hearts of her husband of sixty one years, Anis Chahine and her six children who she treasured - Sami Chahine, Fadi Chahine, Lina Hakim, Amal Parsakian, Jay Chahine and Micheline Karam. 
She is survived by her 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren who lovingly remember her as "Sutto." Son-in-laws, daughters-in-laws, siblings, nieces and nephews are the remaining family members who were touched by her generous life.
A vigil will be held at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841 on Sunday, May 26 at 5pm to comfort the family and share our best memories and will continue to 7:00 pm.
In the coming days, she will make her final journey to Lebanon where she will be laid to rest.
