Veronica Denise Abreu

Veronica Abreu of Somerville, MA was born October 31, 1983 and passed away unexpectedly at home on July 13, 2021. Veronica is survived by her grandmother Maria, mother Isabel, sisters Carolynn and Monica, her children Alandra, Jaiden, Gianni and Jayla; two grandchildren Jeremiah and Jaylani - as well as two nieces -  Vanessa and Yanellis, three nephews - Joshua, Tristan, Omari and two great nieces - Nylah and Zailey. She loved giving everyone in the family unique funny nicknames and we will miss hearing her say them. Veronica was a great listener, storyteller and had the best jokes. You could count on her to keep your secrets and to help with whatever you needed help with. Known by many friends to be willing to give the shirt off of her back. She was always there to lend a hand whenever needed. She loved her children, life and looking beautiful - her eyelashes and nails were always done whilst smelling like her signature scent Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue! Her love for animals was infinite and she loved attending family events where she would make everyone dizzy twirling around the dancefloor dancing salsa. A lover of all music from the 90’s, especially reggae. She will be always loved, forever missed and never forgotten. 

We will be celebrating her return home on Sunday July 25th 2PM - 6PM at Farrah Funeral Home 133 Lawrence St. Lawrence, MA 01841. Veronica will be buried next to her grandfather Manuel Abreu at Bellevue Cemetery on July 26th 9AM - 10AM.
